Dr. Jon Callanan – Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Callanan attended the college of the Holy Cross. He received his B.A. from Holy Cross in 1998. He was also the captain of the men’s ice hockey team. After graduating, Dr. Callanan spent two years abroad playing hockey.
Dr. Callanan would end his professional career and work at the family practice until his acceptance to veterinary school. Like his father before him, he would receive his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (MVB) degree from the University College Dublin. After graduation in 2008, he would join the family practice. He currently lives in Waltham with his wife, two children and their dog, Dublin. In his spare time, he coaches his children in hockey and spends the majority of his time in rinks across Massachusetts during the season. During the “off season” he enjoys time on the Cape with family and playing golf when he can.
Dr. Erin Turowski – Medical Director
Dr. Erin Turowski graduated from veterinary school at The Ohio State University and completed a postdoctoral training program in comparative medicine at MIT prior to her entry into private practice.
She enjoys seeing canine and feline patients and has special interests in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She enjoys helping clients and their pets and mentoring new graduate veterinarians. When she is off clinics, she enjoys running, knitting, practicing yoga, SCUBA diving, and spending time outdoors in the sun. She has two cats, Julius and Fancy, and she also volunteers at the New England Aquarium caring for Myrtle the Turtle and the other animals in the Giant Ocean Tank.
