To make wellness care as effective, convenient and affordable as possible, all Wellness Plans include complete annual diagnotics testing.

Routine Diagnostics as Part of Wellness Care

Your pet’s wellness care will include routine diagnostics. This workup is very comprehensive and provides an good overview of your pet’s general health. Performing diagnostics yearly allows your vet to compare current and previous results to ensure your pet is within healthy range for their breed and age.

Routine blood work includes:

  • Blood cell count
  • Differential exam of blood cells
  • Liver screen
  • Kidney screen
  • Diabetes
  • Cholesterol
  • Electrolytes
  • Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia/Anaplasmosis (canines)
  • Intestinal parasite fecal exams
  • Roundworm and hookworm

Condition-Specific Diagnostics

When investigating a potential health problem your veterinarian will most likely call for a round of specific testing to confirm a diagnosis.
