Routine Diagnostics as Part of Wellness Care
Your pet’s wellness care will include routine diagnostics. This workup is very comprehensive and provides an good overview of your pet’s general health. Performing diagnostics yearly allows your vet to compare current and previous results to ensure your pet is within healthy range for their breed and age.
Routine blood work includes:
- Blood cell count
- Diﬀerential exam of blood cells
- Liver screen
- Kidney screen
- Heartworm/Lyme/Ehrlichia/Anaplasmosis (canines)
- Intestinal parasite fecal exams
- Roundworm and hookworm
