MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

Proof of the following vaccinations, tests and/or treatment, performed within the last year, must be provided prior to boarding (missing vaccinations and tests can be performed onsite with prior scheduling):

Pet Information and Instructions

Bedding, premium pet food and access to premium pet toys are provided by RIAMC and Four Paws Pet Resort. We DO NOT allow bedding, blankets, pillows or stuff animals from home. We are happy to accomodate favorite toys and specific pet food and/or treats.

GROOMING SERVICES

Save $5 on grooming for your pet while they are being boarded. Due to the common and normal occurance of urination to mark their territory and/or to signal dominance, aggression or excitement, we recommend that pets are groomed on check-out day to ensure they are fresh and clean for the ride home.

STAY AND PLAY

These 30-minute one-on-one play sessions provide extra attention focused on your dog's individual personality. We can also help reinforce training that you have been working on at home. Stay and Play is priced per pet and is in addition to standard boarding rates. Pricing depends on kennel size.

DOGGY DAYCARE

Our daycare participants enjoy 3 to 4 outdoor play sessions per day; if the weather is bad, we move the fun in to our specially designated daycare areas. Daycare dogs are grouped by size, temperment and fully supervised by our team of experienced and caring handlers. Pricing is based per pet and is in addition to standard boarding rates. Pricing depends on kennel size. As part of the daycare program, all dogs must be screened to ensure they will fit into the group play environment and meet other program requirements.

Acknowledgements

Please keep in mind that your pet will behave differently in a boarding environment than when at home; this will include inappropriate urination/defecation, or even cage aggression. These behaviors are normal until the animal is comfortable with his/her surrounds. We make every effort to insure a clean calm environment during their stay.

Medical Treatment*

In the event your animal injures him/herself or is subject to unforeseen/undiagnosed illness I hereby give RIAMC and its employees permission to treat and care for my pet in my absence. RIAMC will make every effort to contact owners before treating, but in the interest of the animals health we will treat to the best of our abilities until such time as we receive other instructions from the owners or authorized representatives. We inspect all pets for fleas and flea dirt, all pets are susceptible regardless of home environment. Treatment is mandatory to protect all guests and owner will be billed for treatment.

Reservation and Pricing*

Per day charges accrue each calendar day, regardless of pick-up or drop-off time. Due to the changing nature of veterinary medicine, pricing and policies may change periodically. While we make every effort to keep our website and literature up to date, pricing and policies are subject to change without notice.
